La Choya Coconut Geode with Ramsdellite
La Choya Ramsdellite and Smokey quartz geode Metaphysical and healing Properties
La Choya Ramsdellite Smokey quartz geode from La Choya has Ramsdellite in a very rare clear quartz color with rainbows and traces of other manganese minerals; along with, chalcedony in blue and pink, smokey quartz and goethite with possible dark colored ramsdellite and iron oxides. This is a super rare La Choya geode measuring 3″ wide and about 1 1/2 to two inches deep.

La Choya Geodes
Geodes commonly have a chalcedony (cryptocrystalline quartz) shell lined internally by various minerals, often as crystals, particularly calcite, ( ramsdellite, birnessite, hollandite, rancieite, cryptomelane, pyrolusite, todorokite are the manganese minerals), celestite, dolomite, and macrocrystalline quartz, which is by far the most common and abundant mineral found in geodes.
Ramsdellite is an oxidation product of weathered manganese minerals. Ramsdellite is often a minor constituent of a group of manganese minerals which usually indicate massive ores that are a mixture of several manganese oxides such as pyrolucite, psilomelane ramsdellite and others that are difficult to tell apart without sending to a lab.
Dark birnessite usually appears on light-grey chalcedony but sometimes with todorokite.
Iron oxides will impart rust hues to siliceous solutions. Most geodes contain clear quartz crystals, while others have purple amethyst crystals. Still others can have agate, chalcedony, or jasper banding or crystals such as calcite, dolomite, etc.
